I am a Systems Engineer at Fortinet with over 15 years of networking and security experience.  I have previously worked in banking, accounting, utilities, and higher education. I started this blog in April 2026 as a way to document my projects and experience in the hope to help others searching for answers.

I hold a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from King’s College (PA).  I also hold an A.A.S. in Electrical Technology from Lehigh Carbon Community College (PA). I have the following active certifications: CISSP, CCNP Enterprise, Fortinet NSE 7, Security+, and CCNA.

I live in the greater Rochester, NY area with my wife, son, and two dogs. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, and home improvement projects.
